COMPATIBILITY
Every organization has a certain "feel" to it. You can almost sense it as soon as you walk in the door. It is a curious combination of the amount of trust coworkers have for each other, the formality with which the employees interact with each other, the focus the employees have in their work, and how likeable the individuals are. The hiring manager will want to know if you will fit into their structure and mode of doing work. You can enhance their view of you by addressing four different areas of compatibility: 1) how likable you are, 2) how similar your communication and work styles are to others in the work unit, 3) whether you compliment the business, and 4) whether you appear to cooperate in anticipating the managers needs. |
